- The company executive officer (XO) assists the company commander in the training of the company and performs such administrative duties as designated by the commander.
- The company XO should be well versed in all functions of the company and prepared to assume command of the company in the absence of the company commander.
Duties of the Company Executive Officer
- Assuming command of the company in absence of the Company Commander.
- Ensuring that the absentee reports are submitted to the Battalion CSM by the Company First Sergeant.
